where he’s tangible

where he’s so close you could almost feel him

instead of  boys who came and went

 you blinked and missed him

a place where instead of a clouded image

instead of a faceless man

he’s crystal clear

and he’s standing there waiting on you

would you walk over and introduce yourself?

or would you be too afraid to?

If you could get the job you’ve always wanted

the dream your heart has held onto for as long as you could remember

would you go for it

would you send the resume without over thinking

would you polish your best clothes for the interview

would you beam confidence, even if you swore the job was out of reach

or would you be too afraid too?

If you could wear that trendy outfit you’ve had in your head or your closet

but have been reserved about

because you think it’s not right for you

would you own it

or would you be too afraid to?

Would you stand up for yourself and your beliefs

when someone puts you down

Would you dream big when you feel like a small fish in a big pond

Fear

it’s real

it’s unnerving

But living life beats it every time
