Let’s take a look into Demi Lovato‘s sense of style…

Over the past few years I’ve been following Demi Lovato’s story and music but also her

sense of fashion, she’s really funky and I LOVE it!

Although I’d like to consider my style my own, I definitely have been influenced by her! I am a girl after all, and I LOVE Clothes and accessorizing, just like Demi! There’s nothing like getting ready with your girlfriends for a night out, while blasting your favorite songs!

Demi definitely takes bold chances in how she dresses and she’s responsible for many fashion trends today. Yes Demi you are Flawless!!!!

Speaking of hair Demi is notorious for switching up her hair styles and color quite frequently…she’s sported the brunette look, blonde look and even rocked it as a ginger 😉 She’s had long locks and sheik bangs…the list is endless. Guess she gets bored easily, like every other girl in the world!

Notice how girls these days seem to be obsessed with painting their nails and trying new funky colors and designs every 5 seconds?… Well Demi does it too! Throughout her judging duties on x-factor Ms. Lovato was all about the nails! Every night she would tweet pictures of her newly polished nails!

Some friends and I had a little Halloween get together a few years ago, and for fun we dressed up as our favorite celebrities….Guess who i went as? 😉 Demi is an inspiration to many, she’s struggled with things that are way beyond her young years and yet she’s back and better and healthier than ever. So I think I speak for many girls when I say Thank You Demi, for being just a great role model and for introducing your sense of style to us! 😀

“All girls really want is someone to want them back.”

It’s strange to look at the  smaller world around me, it consists of a lot of great family and friends, and we’re all at the age where we’re thinking more clearly about what we want for our futures, and who we want to be apart of them. 2012 was a year of many changes for my friends.

A few of my friends got boyfriends and one even got ENGAGED! It’s pretty crazy! So naturally you think about your life and what you want. A good friend of mine and I often joke around, how we’re the last ones standing, and sometimes it can be frustrating. So let’s discuss! 😉

What do girls want?…I’m going to give all the guys out there that are stuck somewhere between a boy and a man some helpful insight….but Shhhhh (you never heard it from me!)

Girls are CRAZY! Trust me I understand, we can say one thing and mean and think something totally different. And we expect you guys to just get it, when really you have NO FREAKIN’ CLUE. We analyze EVERYTHING and come up with the most ridiculous scenarios. (It’s OK I’m one of them…I can say this!) BUT the truth is… All girls really want is a guy who will care for them,

be there for them when things are stressful and they need a hand to hold or shoulder to cry on, someone they can laugh with, and be themselves around. Yea I mean without the makeup, or the high heels, or the perfect outfit and hair…I’m talkin’ sweats and junk food! 😉 Girls just want that chance to be a good girlfriend, to a guy who’s a good boyfriend. And to occasionally get flowers now and again wouldn’t hurt either! LOL Now that may sound like a long list, but when you actually think about it, is it really too much to ask for? Trust me…Chivalry is NOT dead, I don’t care what these rappers are saying these days (yes I’m aware I sound like I’m 40 hahaha…guess I have an old soul.) So Good Luck to you guys and gals out there looking for love! May the force be with you, friends! 😉

So if you’ve been keeping up with my blog, you may have noticed that I gave myself the weekend off 😉 However, this is my first Monday post and I think I’d like to start a little routine. Mondays I’d like to catch up on the weekends events and also share a few odds and ends with you at times. So for starters I know that Mondays can sometimes be dreadful, and I don’t know about you guys but this is my last full week off before I go back to classes. So I have quite the TO DO LIST!

1) Clean out my book bag from last semester (because yes i still haven’t) haha

2) Buy a new notebook and a few folders

3) Check school e-mail

4) Print Schedule… blah blah blah the list is endless and sometimes even my to do lists have to do lists. That’s what I call a Type A Personality haha (*Spoiler Alert* keep an eye out for a michelle leigh writes piece on that)

Anyway with that being said I have a way more FUN to do list for you guys! Trust me on this!

1) If you haven’t already… listen to Justin Timberlake’s new single Suit & Tie!!!!!!! Yes that’s right people it’s here! If you read my piece on him last Friday you know how excited I am about this! Now, I don’t want to shed any views on it if you haven’t heard, because I think you should hear it for yourself first, but I just can’t help it… it’s freakin’ amazing! I mean c’mon shame on you if you haven’t listened to it yet! 😉

Anyway enjoy it here either way: (I’ve only replayed it about oh 100 times and counting! lol)

Suit&Tie

Amazing right? I mean it’s so different from anything he’s ever done, but still so classic Justin. I love how his voice sounds! I mean if you were expecting another “sexy back,” then that would have meant he didn’t grow as an artist, but this, this shows his new album (which is set to release this year…and is called “the 20/20 experience”) is going to be something on a completely new level and I can’t even wait! (Just so you know JT’s been quietly writing this album since last June!…so it’s sure to be nothing short of perfection!…Boy sure can keep a secret, huh?)  For anyone hating on it, I truly don’t understand! You know it’s gonna grow on you, so just deal with! 😉 P.S. it’s already #1 on iTunes so this brings me to my second item on our to do list:

3.) Dance around your room and jam out to it, cuz you know you want to! 😉

In other news! The 2013 Golden Globes were last night and although I have complete respect for the film industry and I actually think Amy Poehler and Tina Fey were a great pair and joked it up with the audience, I always find those shows a little bit of a snooze fest. And everyone who gets the music played on them for taking too long with their speeches just makes me super nervous and I feel embarrassed for them. BUT…George Clooney you are gorgeous, Anne Hathaway you are a sweetheart and Ben and Jen you guys are super cute! Stay Happy!

Speaking of Music being another Language….

BREAKING NEWS…(we’ll get back to michelle leigh writes originals don’t you worry) But first, there just so happens to be a more pressing matter in the world of music…Justin Timberlake is ready to bring it on back…I’ve been a little worried because sexy has been gone for nearly 7 years!

News of the musician’s (and yes I’m calling him a musician becomes that is what he is, first and foremost and what he will always be…even though I happen to think he’s an awesome actor… music is the focus here people) full on return to music all started (much like everything nowadays)…with a tweet:

Automatically twitter went crazy and so did I! Justin Timberlake was an instant trending topic. So naturally everyone was on high alert for a new single (possibly featuring jayz and/or beyonce) to drop yesterday. But what we got instead may have been even better…in my opinion. I knew he was going to do something like this…very stealth, very inconspicuous, very Justin. After all this time, he doesn’t mind making us wait just a little longer. He released this video…a heartfelt promise of what’s to come. On JustinTimberlake.com this video is followed by a countdown, as of now it’s  numbers read 2 days and counting…that clock will strike the big 0 on Sunday at midnight.

Rumors have even included that Timberlake may have a full 20 track album already under his belt, co-produced by the ridiculous Timbaland! But still, Timberlake remains coy. Since the release of his “I’m ready” video, he’s tweeted teasing his fans about the ticking clock and hashtagging #YouNeverKnow …so what do you think he has in store for us?

My bet is…that whatever it is…it’s going to be mind-blowing. God Speed Justin….We’ve Missed You. #We’reReady
