This year Friends hit it’s 25th Anniversary! So naturally the world took notice and the events started lining up. Thankfully, my sister in law was able to score tickets to the FRIENDS Pop Up.
I went in mid September and it was everything I wanted. Tickets were about 35 dollars, and you got a time slot. This was super organized and we didn’t have to wait like the Central Perk Pop Up in 2014. The staff was super nice and helpful and it was just a blast.

The Pop Up was so much fun, I loved seeing the artifacts, and getting to recreate scenes from the show. I love television and storytelling. My dream is to write for tv, so these events are such a dream for me! It was one of the best days, and I’m really glad I got to share it with my brother and sister in law as we rocked our FRIENDS t-shirts. (I got mine in HOT TOPIC.)
Also we went to Black Tap after for lunch and I had to get their friends themed shake! It was delicious, but massive so I couldn’t finish it all. LOL.
FRIENDS is my favorite show of all time. I love each character and all their quirks. They have made me laugh countless times. Thank you FRIENDS, for always being there for me. Happy 25th Anniversary! I can’t wait to see what they do for the 30th!
For festival goers it’s a time to douse yourself in buckets of glitter. Body jewelry, funky fashion and stellar Instagram pics.
But for those on the other side of Instagram, well, let’s just say for me, there’s always a bit of fomo. (Fear of missing out.)
In many ways, I feel like I’m a hippie that would fit right in there. Not in the sense that I’m overly impulsive or that I love the outdoors. But in the sense that I’ve always been attracted to flower crowns, tie dye, and peace signs. Deep down, I have a bohemian soul.
Which is basically Coachella vibes.
I also really love music.
It’s more so the heat and the desert that I don’t think I could vibe with. But I do love the funky fashion. I’d definitely go all out if I ever were to attend.
Needless to say, this past weekend was Coachella weekend 1. And the rumors began.
Ariana posted a video of *NSYNC in concert, as she stands in the crowd held by her mother as a little girl.
Soon after she posted this clip of herself singing and bopping along to “Tearin’ up My Heart”
As many of you know. I am a COMPLETE and TOTAL *NSYNC Fangirl. This 90s boy band was and still is my jam. And so when I heard Arianna Grande’s new song “Break up with your girlfriend I’m bored”…I instantly recognized her sampling of *NSYNC’s “It Makes Me Ill.”A song off their 2nd album- No Strings Attached. Man that album was epic. I saw them in concert for that album. My first and last *NSYNC concert. Well hopefully not my last. 😉
Rumors of NSYNC coming to join Grande during her Sunday Night Coachella set started with a few slick tweets.
And I knew it was happening. It was very flashbacky to when they were rumored to join Justin Timberlake at the 2013 VMAS. SPOLER ALERT-they did. But I kind of like to block it out, because I was so sad, they were only given a few short minutes. My feels were hit hard.
So I knew something was going to go down. And conveniently enough YouTube was streaming the event live. So I got to partake in #Couchella.
Grande took the stage opening with “God is a Woman” and “Bad Idea.” Then early in her set, she brought 4/5ths of *NSYNC out to join her yelling, “I’ve been rehearsing my whole f*ckin life for this.” JC, Lance, Joey, and Chris took the stage. I figured Justin wouldn’t show, considering he just wrapped his 115 show Man of the Woods tour the day before. Part of me wants to call him a brat. But the other part knows homeboy needs a damn break! 115 shows bro! 115! According to TMZ (super credible I KNOW! 😉 He was just unable to align his schedule with them to rehearse.
The guys joined Ariana singing their “It Makes Me Ill” portion of her song and then they performed “It’s Tearin’ Up My Heart” complete with synchronized dance moves! THAT CHOREOGRAPHY!
Ariana, I have to give you props girl, you held your own! And it was epic! Those guys still got it. And in typical *NSYNC fashion they all had matching pants and color schemes. MY HEART! I TELL YOU! THESE BOYS HAVE MY LITTLE FANGIRL HEART! I just realized I never really blogged about the recent *NSYNC news within the past few years…I guess this is kind of turning into an all around *NSYNC update. In typical JC fashion he waved to the crowd as they all started to leave, and he said, “Thank you Coachella this has been a dream of ours.” Or something to that affect. I can’t find a DAMN VIDEO to rewatch. And I was an overly tired (it was like 2am on the east coast!) and frazzled fangirl last night. Not to mention the picture/audio/lighting was kind of a hot mess via Live stream.
As the exited the stage, Joey shouted, “thank you see you next time.” NEXT TIME! GUYS…he said next time!
Ariana laid on the stage, as she said, “ok I can die now.” LOLOL. We feel you though.
Grande went on to perform a 90 minute set including more guest appearances by Nicki Minaj, and Diddy. Now I’m not like her biggest fan or anything, but she seriously threw a damn good 90s throwback party. She even played of her old jams from her earlier albums, which I loved!
Hats off, Grande. From one fan girl to the next, thanks for reuniting the band for a night.

Anyone catch that “One more time?” comment Lance left on Ariana’s Instagram. Could it be they guys are returning to perform again with her this weekend at Coachella. Probably Not. Lol. Cuz well, it’s Easter. Time for Fam time! 😉

Last time we had our boys together was around this time last year; (April 30th- “It’s gonna be may” day to be exact) to receive their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And it was a freakin’ magical time. I watched the entire livestream like a giddy little school girl!

Not to mention the guys kept releasing new capsule *NSYNCmerch last year. I totally bought t-shirts! They even had a pop up shop in LA…Man if I lived in the area, I would have moved mountains to get there. Lance also just produced a documentary called The Boy Band Con- The Lou Pearlman Story. I haven’t seen it yet, but I know JC, Chris, and Joey are all featured in it. All of this gives a fangirl some hope. Yup…still waiting on that official reunion album/tour announcement. Don’t they know the universe is just waiting for it. I mean even Lance Bass recently said-
They really do seem like they genuinely love each other and wish the best for each other, but I also think the are just waiting for the perfect time to come back. I blame JT, maybe now that he’s back from a crazy hectic tour, he could hang out (in the studio) with some old friends.
Ok ok, sorry. I know I rag on JT for being the reason *NSYNC hasn’t reunited, but make no mistake that dude is my homie. I love him. I support him. I’ve seen every show, bought every record. I’m in it. I’m his fangirl just as much as the band’s. Much love for all 5 guys!

ALSO FAN GIRL REPORT SIDENOTE: Due to bruised vocal chords Justin Timberlake has had to postpone a few of his tour dates. My Wednesday night show, sadly was one of them. I was all set, rushed home from work, was going to eat, change and head out, when I got an email and voicemail from Ticketmaster. And then I saw J.T.’s instagram post. I missed it earlier, because I was working. But what can you do, at least I saw it before I got ready to leave my house. I have to admit, I was bummed. I was so pumped to see him live. It’s been a while!
I had a show rescheduled, back when he first toured for the Justified album. My first time ever seeing him live, solo. There was a crazy stage accident and people were injured and equipment was damaged and they had to cancel it. I was so upset. I was probably about 12 and I was hysterical crying when I saw it on the news.
My older cousin was supposed to take me, so she was like I will take you wherever you want to go, we can do whatever you want that day and you can bring whoever you want. She’s the best! So I wanted to go to Build-a-bear (Is 12 too old for that? Probably but whatever, til this day that is the only Build-a-bear I have. This coming from a girl who played with Barbies til she was like 14, Lol #DONTJUDGE!) I brought my best friend and we all went to the mall, and it was a great day!
Needless to say, we made it to the concert…and it was freakin’ AMAZING!
And this one will be too. Being that ya know I am having to #ADULT these days, I totally understood the need for JT to have to postpone. He needs to take care of himself first. Health and Safety first always. The new date is going to be on his 38th Birthday- January 31st, so I am super stoked for that! Rest Up JT, see you in January! I just can’t wait! Ah #FANGIRLIFE!

I know it’s been a minute since I’ve posted an updated fangirl report on here. But to be honest, as you get older, adulting is a thing and it can totally harsh your fangirl mellow. But that being said after tomorrow…I’ll have some more fun news to report for you!
Tomorrow, I have tickets to see the man, the myth, the legend- Justin Timberlake in his MAN OF THE WOODS TOUR. If you remember, seeing J.T. in concert is on my Fall Bucket List…so I am super happy to be able to check that one off!
It has been a while since I’ve seen him in concert. My Fangirl life is pretty well documented on this blog though. See lists of posts below…
Needless to say, I feel like JT is kind of doing his thing this tour. He isn’t really attending many award shows because he’s touring, and to be honest I haven’t been keeping up with the award shows either. He isn’t really doing many public appearances, again, because he’s touring. And I’m doing life on my end, and we just meet in the middle. Haha. Normally I’m like tracking his every move, but ya homegirl has a busy life now! I feel like I barely have enough time in a day! Haha. Thanks to his instagram I can still keep up. But I’ve learned not everything has to be super urgent.
Was I excited when his new album came out?
Yes.
Did I buy it?
Duh.
Did I have a private dance party, alone in my room, at midnight.
Maybe.
Do I continue to purchase *NSYNC tees like a psycho?
Um of course.

Yup was on Ticketmaster bright and early, and no luck!
So I realized something. If I want to go. I will make it happen. I kept checking back and waited out those damn ticket prices, til I felt the price was reasonable and the seats were decent enough. I love you JT, but I am not made of money bro! Ticketmaster was legit, driving me crazy. But after a while, I finally got my tickets a few weeks ago, and it’s a go for tomorrow!

I haven’t let myself watch too much footage from the concert, because I knew I was planning to go. But I have seen the vibe of it, very campfire, woodsy, earthy. I love it, and I am with it. Although I feel like my obsession with this album isn’t as strong as my others, but this album is definitely feel good, chill vibes. And I’m ready for it. I am getting pumped writing this as I listen to the album, lol. [Flannel is playing right now- has become one of my favorites.] And I’m sure he’s going to throw in the nostalgia hits, #Cry Me A River, #What Goes Around, #Mirrors. Omg I am so ready, you guys! Last time I did a whole vlog situation, but honestly it was very time consuming and I filmed a get ready with me and all that too, and I just don’t have the time for that this year. I’m rushing home to go see him as it is. Besides, sometimes you just want to be in the moment and not worry about having to capture it on a recording device. So as much as I would love to have another JT concert vlog for MLW, I think I’ll just stick to crappy cell phone coverage and my oh so wise words. 😉 But I will of course be doing a concert review!

At the stroke of midnight on Friday, February 2, 2018 Justin Timberlake released his fifth studio album. And you bet your girl had her own personal listening party in her room, (thanks Spotify) even though she was exhausted, sometimes you just need to do it. #TheFangirlLifeIsReal #ItWaitsForNoGirl
So as per usual I’m going to highlight my favorite lyrics and some of my random thoughts as I listened to the full album. You know your girl had her notebook ready! I can say that after my first listen… my favorites include- Midnight Summer Jam, Higher Higher, Morning Light, Montana, and Young Man. But as always, while I continue to hit replay on this album… for the entire weekend, I’m already finding new favorites, and I am really appreciating this album as a whole. Something I have to admit, I was a bit nervous about because Filthy wasn’t an instant favorite and the album is super different from what JT is best known for. Them Dance Anthems!

I love the drums, the horns, the guitar, the harmonica break down. It’s just such a great dance song. And I can see myself dancing to this on a cozy night in by the fire during winter, or at a big outdoor summer BBQ. I love that last line…”Please… don’t stop the music…” P.S. did you catch Jessica’s “it’s sweaty out here baby” line.

I really love how this is titled HERS, by the lyrics, you’d think it’d be HIS since she’s speaking, but he changed it to speak on his own behalf almost as if to say, she may be mine, but I’m hers too. *I really like Justin’s vocals in this. He hits a capella *N’SYNC notes, super nostalgic, and beautiful. And what a beautiful ode to his wife/his family, yet again. I can’t explain it, but I just think it’s so cool that he had her be apart of his record in such an artistic way.

*Oh My God! this song had me in tears. Justin shares some beautiful family moments with us, as we hear him with his family. Jessica and Justin trying to get baby Silas to say Dada, and his little voice comes through, “Dada.” As his parents say “Good Job, buddy.” At the very end you hear Jessica talking to her son, “Is that daddy? Say I love you daddy.” Silas obliges and then we hear a little kiss sound. SO INCREDIBLE. And the lyrics make for a beautiful song for his son.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
This album is definitely different. I was nervous it would be too different. But I think I’m growing up with him. And my taste in music has also been evolving. And I really love this album. I feel like it really showcases his songwriter skills and proves that he is a true storyteller. It’s a mix of several decade influences, disco, jazz, rap, country, Motown. He gets in touch with his home, his southern roots, and he expresses the drive for his music- his wife and his son- his family. To put it simply, MAN OF THE WOODS is a cool, chill, jam, full of seriously good vibes. I seriously want to go to this tour. He basically said for this show, he wants to “bring the outside in.” And that sounds really cool. I’m with it. Fingers crossed that I get tickets, it’s super difficult and prices are out of this word!
*And you can stream his album for free on Spotify…but buy it on iTunes, or ya know in a store (Like I did)…Just buy it…it’s so good! Oh and by the way… waiting on that Jessica Biel album…

But honestly now that they’ve gotten a little more open about sharing some of their life with the world, I can see how in love they are and how beautiful their marriage and family is. Justin Timberlake’s new album “Man Of The Woods” is out THIS FRIDAY- February 2nd-TOMORROW! Just in time for him to take the stage this Sunday at this year’s Super bowl for the Half time show. In the weeks leading up to this special day, Justin has released 3 out of 4 songs all accompanied by music videos. I imagine the 4th song will be released sometime this week. Yesterday Justin celebrated his 37th Birthday by rehearsing for the Super bowl and sharing some video clips of new songs. He hinted about “Man of the woods” being a “New song alert” but then he played a clip of another song entitled, “Montana.” I’m excited it sounds good!!! He also said that “Man of the Woods” the album title is named after his son, Silas- which means- of the woods; “So stop telling me I’m making a country album.” Hahaha ah Justin you might have wanted to lead with that little tid bit. Cuz you got people confused over here! 😉 Happy Birthday, to the man! Can’t wait for the new album! Now onto the 3 of the 4 songs already released.

The second song and video released was for SUPPLIES
This song was more of a instant like than Filthy. And I think the video is pretty cool. Riddled with not so hidden messages and politics I’m sure there is a reason for each. But at first watch it’s just all very confusing. I do see Justin’s inner thug trying to come out here. Haha. That white hoodie tho. #ROCKYOURBODYVIBES
-The video starts with Justin sitting in front of a wall of televisions displaying a bunch of images- like eyes starring back you and weapons. Followed by news reports of racism and riots.
As the song begins.
-The next scene is filled with the colors, white, black and gold. As we see a woman in a black hoodie approach a man and some regal dressed women painted in white. As dozens of white umbrellas float above their heads and white painted alligators walk the streets. A man with a neck made of guns walks by too. To be honest I’m not getting this metaphor. Maybe it has something to do with racism or social class or the pouring rain of issues our world is currently facing.
-Next we have a crew of people holding flashlights in front of what appears to be a Library. As Justin is joined by Pharrell for the chorus. Flashlights. Supplies. He’ll be the light in the darkness.
-Justin also has a partner in these antics, a leading lady- who sets fire to the symbol of illuminati and we see dozens bow before it, praising it. Guess he’s stating his opinion of that one.
-There’s the political jab at President Trump- as the girl rocks a “P***Y Grabs Back” shirt while lifting a car above her head.
-Then there is a scene of floating people with light rings around their heads, Justin and his lady release two people as they fall free. My take is that society can brainwash you, but you have to think for yourself.
-2:42 is my favorite part of the song, and in the video it is basically the “romantic love scene” I guess you could call it. Justin and his love interest are circled in flashing beams of light while they have a make out session. He sings about being a generous lover.
-If you ask me that part is a little misplaced. The sound of it, makes it feel like it could be in a song on it’s own. I do get that the song is about living in a world that’s falling apart, and how he will be the light, he will be everything she needs to survive. He’s got supplies. Sounds to me like someone’s been doomsday prepping. Haha. No but honestly if you look into the deeper meaning of this Rap infused song, you can really say it’s kind of a love song, he’s basically just saying that in a world of scary scary things, they still have each other and they will make it through. It’s beautiful when you put it that way. Not sure if people are picking up on that though.
-The last few shots come to us from a dessert as Justin emerges from the ground of rubble, accompanied by his lady love and a few disheveled kids. Seriously though how is this chick still rocking perfect hair and lipstick in the apocalypse?
-The video ends with a very loud message as one of the young children screams into the camera, “Just Leave, die already. Your still asleep, wake up. Just leave, please. We’re good.” As Justin takes his girl’s hand and walks off, kids following. I think this has to do with needing to wake up to the world around us and accept that change has to come. Good change. I also definitely think it’s about Trump and our government and possibly how it is failing us. I know a lot of celebrities are not supporters of Trump. And neither am I. But I don’t like talking politics.
I also think you can really interpret this video is a million different ways, there are some bizarre images. It’s very Taylor Swift. 😉
But I think it’s a really cool video, and he has some strong messages in there. I’ve never seen him do something like this before. Go Justin!
Ok so this song may be my favorite so far (I play it a lot!), and this video is EPIC. It was a one shot, one take, live performance. And it gave me serious Lumineers “Ho Hey” vibes. There is an incredible in depth article about this video, and you can read that HERE
It’s incredibly cinematic and beautifully shot. And that choir that joins in later on in the Chorus, COME ON NOW! This song is going to be incredible in concert, I hope he sings it at the super bowl!
This was a new style song and video for Justin and I’m noticing that he’s really pushing the boundaries with this album. It may be different, it may not be what we’re used to, but artists are meant to evolve and transform their styles. And I’m excited to see what the rest of Man of the Woods has got for us! Fangirl mode…ON!

I fell in love with the relationship between Kara Danvers “Supergirl” who hailed from planet Krypton and Mon El Former Prince of Daxam rather quickly. From the minute they met, you knew it was going to be interesting to watch it unfold. And so this love/hate banter began between them, as Kara tried to train Mon El in learning to control and utilize his strength for good. SPOIILER ALERT: it was just too cute too deny. His smile when he looks at her is EVERYTHING!
Their relationship started off rocky, Mon El came into the show in a FISH OUT WATER like state. His “pod” landed on earth and he was needless to say…confused and he met the girl of steel and her mighty fist quite a few times. Their story has a bit of a Romeo and Juliet feel to it, as their alien lands were once rivals.
However, they had their ups and downs, they fought, they got drunk together, they flirted, they dated other people (well party boy Mon El mostly did and Kara grew jealous). But it was soon evident that Mon El grew feelings for Kara and he became this witty, adorable man with a crush. Watching him learn the ways of earth and adapt to social cues is hysterical. However, as cute as they had become, Kara is a very independent woman, and Mon El often times would try to interfere with her decisions, they broke up for a brief period when Kara realized Mon El was lying about his past. Mon El was quick to work at winning her back.
At the end of season two, due to a device that was used during a fight with an evil alien (Mon El’s Mother), Mon El was expected to die, and Kara placed him in a pod and sent him off into space as a way to save him.
When we return this season, in season three- 7 months were spent in fear, wonder, worry for our beloved heroine. Not knowing where he was, or if he was alive. Kara became closed off, and through herself into being solely Supergirl. Kara Danvers was her human side, with a human heart that knew how to love, and she decided to leave that part of her behind. Until one day Mon El returns from living a life 7 years in the future with a wife-Imra a.k.a Saturn girl.
Kara never saw it coming. And neither did I.

My favorite Kara/Mon El “Karamel” moments are…
Below @2:15- Mon El is suggesting they watch a Musical and Kara freaks out and gets all excited. This may be my absolute favorite scene of theirs. Because the way he looks at her is so perfect, he loves her so much! And he loves seeing her happy, and she’s clearly so happy with him. #RelationshipGoals #AlienLove😉
Although the next scene is heartbreaking, it really shows just how much Mon El really loves Kara. You can just tell by how badly he doesn’t want their relationship to end. This is the Mon El we are used to, the guy who tears up, the guy who expresses his feelings. The guy completely in love with Kara.
This season has crushed many Karamel shipper hearts. Not only does he have a wife, but he isn’t who he used to be on the surface.
“Your different…” oh gosh she cries, I cry with her. So sad.
We see bits of the old Mon El come out from time to time, but Kara has quite the heartbreak over it all. Her boyfriend came back after months of not knowing, and he’s from the future with a whole new life. Not the mention his wife is also a superhero, beautiful and nice, constantly complimenting Kara. Ugh god, could you imagine wanting to hate someone who is always so nice. Torture!
I really hate how they’ve written this storyline, and how Mon El is being portrayed. Granted Mon El was always a little self absorbed, he usually only thought about himself and his safety but when it came to Kara, he would protect her at any costs and he started becoming a better man for it, caring for others as Kara cares for National City. But the second half of season three, has me questioning Mon El’s character. There are signs that point to Mon El still having feelings for Kara, but there is still something up, something missing. It’s like he doesn’t care for her as genuinely as he used to. I understand it was 7 years for him and a lot can happen to a person in 7 years but to know how heartbroken Kara was when he was left away in that pod, all of us Karamel fans were holding out hope for the day he would return and they could just pick up where they left off. A couple of superheroes so in love. Like Kara says in the 3×09 video clip above…
“I see this very clearly for what it is, we’re just three good people stuck in a really crappy situation, but you know what at least two of us still get to be happy….I really am trying to be okay with this but…this is worse than the worst thing I could possibly imagine and that’s you looking at me with no love in your eyes.”
That scene was so amazing, although it was so heart breaking, I was so happy when she laid that all out in front of him, because although it’s been 7 years for him, [and Imra has said to Kara how Mon El loved her so much and didn’t look at another girl for years,] Mon El still needed to hear that it is NOT okay for him to be all chummy and kissing his wife right in front of Kara. 7 years, yes ok, but for Kara it’s still only been 7 months, her wounds are still fresh and he should respect her enough not to flaunt his new found relationship. NOT COOL Mon El, NOT COOL.
Last night I was watching the new episode- 3×10-The Legion of Superheroes- and I was just so angry at Mon El. There Supergirl is lying, nearly dead and there he is just chilling and not helping- throwing out some “I can’t risk dying the future needs us” bull crap. I was livid that he had to be encouraged by Imra of all people- to intervene. Granted, I know he had his brainiac friend from the future helping to coax Kara out of Acoma, but he was just standing around, waiting, the old Mon El would have been freaking out doing whatever he could to save the love of his life. So I ask myself, what gives? Like in this scene where he tells her he still cares. And sure I believe him, but it’s not the same as it used to be. He’s distant, he’s holding back. And it breaks my heart.
I’m still holding out hope, the rumors I am hearing are that Imra (Mon El’s wife) is in fact manipulating his mind. And that is why Mon El is behaving the way he has been. That would make a lot of sense, So here’s hoping that’s true. Because I’m sorry I ship, my ships, and I take them seriously. I know I’m not the only one. I can’t accept a world without a Karamel reunion. P.S. 7 years and Mon El still doesn’t end up REALLY helping in battle. Lol. Dude you want to wear the suit, do the work! 😉 No but I love him, I do, I just need this weird version of him to be gone. I miss the old Mon El. Come back to us, come back to Kara.

Although it’s been about 5 years since a Justin Timberlake album, we still had a lot of music from him 2 summers ago, when he did the soundtrack album for DreamWorks “Trolls,” where he also starred as “Branch,” and released the mega summer anthem “Can’t Stop The Feeling.”
But it’s that time again, my fellow fangirls… Justin Timberlake is back at it again, with a full solo album!
It all started last weekend when his website JustinTimberlake.com just displayed this logo…
Then shortly after he released a trailer introducing his new album…entitled “MAN OF THE WOODS.” It was a very artistic, beautiful, scenic video, with Justin’s voiceover explaining how this album is very personal, inspired by his wife and son, as we see him with them in the video. Something that I feel is very rare for him to do. And at the very end of the trailer it is announced that Justin’s 5th solo studio album will be released February 2nd.
Along with that announcement came the announcement of the album’s 1st single, “Filthy.”
“Filthy” was realized along with a video to go with it, at midnight last night-January 5th.
I have to say upon first listen/first watch I was not completely in love with it. Which you know as a MAJOR JT FANGIRL I was quite heartbroken to admit. But I heard the song for the first time as I watched the video. And I think that’s what threw me, it was too much to take in all at once. I was confused by the song, something felt like it was missing, I kept waiting for a mega chorus that didn’t come. I kept grooving, then stopping, I was unsure if I liked it.
Kind of like Perez Hilton’s reaction-
I cracked up so hard watching this, because I was just like same, Perez, same. Except maybe not so vulgar in my dance moves. Haha.
But then again I was watching this bizarre futuristic robotic performance. The video is basically this tech conference held in Malaysia in 2028, as Justin performs behind the scenes, a Robot takes his place on stage. Like a literal Robot Justin, grinding on Malaysian girls quite vulgarly. I was so confused. It wasn’t at all what I expected after seeing such a rustic, woodsy, man living off the land trailer.
Had I just listened to the song on it’s own, I think I would have had a different first reaction. However, as I gave it a second listen it began to grow on me. And I started to vibe with it. In other words, I’ve been jamming to it all day! 🙂 I feel like I had the same experience with Sexy Back when it first came out, it was so produced and you could barely hear his true vocals and it wasn’t something I was used to. But after a while it grew on me, and it became a song I love and that album became an album that I loved and that broke records! So I figured I had to give this one a minute to sink in. And it has. And I’m so glad. Because trust me, no fangirl ever wants to admit they don’t like bae’s music. But honestly speaking, I just can’t vibe with that music video. It’s too futuristic, Steve Jobs on crack for me. Lol. Artistic, Sure. Different, Absolutely. So I guess that’s enough…for now. 😉
Timberlake has since released his album artwork along with his track list…
Timberlake enlisted long time friends and partners; Timbaland and Pharrell Williams (the Neptunes) for this album. That in itself should tell you this album is going to be a force to be reckoned with!
The track list looks like it fits much more along the lines of the trailer video, with titles like Flannel, and Livin’ Off The Land. I’m super excited for HERS, I loved all his preludes and interludes on Future/Sex Love Sounds, and I just feel like it’s going to be like this sexy love ballad.
A.K.? Could that be ya girl…Alicia Keys, that would be an incredible collaboration, if I remember correctly pretty sure they were photographed together recently at the Rock In Rio, event…coincidence I think not! 😉

In other words we’ll be getting weekly singles, until the release of the album, and just two days after the album release, Timberlake will perform the coveted Half Time show at this year’s Super Bowl on Sunday, February 4th! This song is FIRE! Is it not? Yet again, Ms. Queen proves she is here to stay. Sampling some Bad Blood Vibesthere, we get to hear Taylor sing a sexy serenade to a “new love.” (I’m not getting into comparing the lyrics to who she’s dating now…no drama, just music.) I feel like these lyrics are more mature and in your face. It’s almost a Taylor Swift version of a rap song, and I’m with it! She speaks about how this current love interest is above all those from her past. And that in her dreams they have quite the scandalous relationship. She’s basically asking him if he’s ready for it? Ready for her- in all her crazy Taylor glory! 😉 I have to say although the track sounds like a “nicer” Taylor Swift with remnants of her old sounds, I still think it fits well into her new image. It’s still very different. I love the ending, how it’s very chanty and very audience sing-a-long friendly. “Baby, let the games begin…” 😉

Sorry Walking Dead but I think I’ve traded in zombies for love. Hey, when you take away my favorite love story (Maggie and Glenn) you deserve to be put on the back burner. Still haven’t watched since. And I’m okay with that.
Anyway, I quickly fell in love with Hallmark’s Sunday night series- When Calls The Heart. But I watched through Netflix and YouTube, so to be able to watch the season 4 premiere along with the rest of the #Hearties fam, I was super excited! I even live tweeted a bit too! The cast seems so sweet! Although, let’s be real, I will be watching the premiere over again, because twitter can be such a distraction! 😀
I had a crazy weekend, so I didn’t get to host my usual real deal big Premiere Party, but I set up at little something in honor of my newest TV obsession’s big night!
