So as you may have guessed from previous posts, I happen to be over the moon about Justin Timberlake making his return to music!
So as an avid fan, I feel it is only my duty to spread the details of the MAJOR WEEK(s) Justin has ahead of him!
THIS SATURDAY…
Ok so the other day I was thinking if I could play any role in a movie what would it be and why? To tell you the truth, I couldn’t think of the ultimate role…give me a few years and I’ll get back to you on that haha. BUT I do have a role in mind, that I found pretty much hits all the right qualities I would want in a character.
The character in question is
“Jen Kornfeldt”
played by Katherine Heigl, from 201o’s “Killers.” Heigl plays a young woman who just recently ended a relationship with a long-term boyfriend, and in turn is forced to accompany her parents on vacation. Fun huh?
While in France, she meets Ashton Kutcher’s character “Spencer Aimes.” They quickly fall for each other and the movie does a time jump to 3 years later when they are married and living the suburban life as a married couple.
Heigl’s character has it all; she’s beautiful, successful in her career, happy in her marriage, and has a good support system including her parents and girlfriends. Her life is the picture of perfection…or so she thinks. She soon finds out her husband is a trained killer, and is licensed to kill the “bad guys,” although now it turns out he’s the main target. In a very strategically planned comedy drama, we see Heigl’s character, get into gear as she soon enough becomes her husband’s sidekick. Stealing cars, shooting guns and kicking ass…oh and by the way all while she’s… pregnant…yea! LOL
Oh hello there abs ❤
It’s funny because the content of the movie is by no means funny, there are many deaths, but the way it is all laid out, just makes it comedic in some way. Kutcher and Heigl make the perfect team, and FYI Kutcher’s the hottest you’ve ever seen him! I’ve always said that I would love to play a bad-ass character…, and I don’t know about you, but I’d say that Heigl’s character definitely qualifies. P.S. I just love her and almost everything she’s in! (that one for the money movie…girl that was the worst jersey accent I’ve ever heard in my life! lolol)

I have serious issues trying to braid my hair. Every time I try it just falls out within a 10 minute
period, because 1) my hair is thin, and 2) I have layers. It’s so frustrating because I love the braided
side pony tail look, but it just never seems to work for me! I guess once my hair fully grows out, then it
will be more manageable. But like every girl knows, waiting for your hair to grow, is like waiting for
spring to come in this vicious winter cold.

So Tuesdays are usually the day I post some original work, I decided to do something a little different today. A good friend of mine recently shared with me some of her poems and other works. And I had been drawn to her style of writing because I feel it’s a lot like my style. I can definitely relate to it and I think many of you will be able to as well. This next piece of hers is beautiful and honest and it stuck with me the moment I read it.

So as my friend Lauren likes to joke, I am the only person in the world who watches
the CW’s Hart of Dixie… and you know what maybe I am..I’m a girl, I like all that corny shit. 😉
But hey it stars Rachel Bilson
(best known for her role as Summer on Fox’s The OC)
and the show is also from the creators of that same once very
popular teen drama. Can you say Seth Cohen?
Regardless of the fact this guy is on it, and well hey… I’d just watch it for him alone 😉
His name is Wilson Bethel, and he plays the character of “Wade Kinsella,” local bartender and well known
ladies man, until he sets his sights on Rachel Bilson’s character “Dr. Zoe Hart,”
the new stylish New York doctor that’s taking “Blue-Bell,” Alabama by storm.
(Although in the last episode we found out that he
cheated on her when he got drunk one night.) But I refuse to talk about that, because well I’m pretty pissed.
I have waited so damn long for them to finally get together and they were pretty freakin’ cute…
damn Wade, what the hell!!!
Any who… enough of that, the reason I brought this show up is because there was a song featured on last week’s episode that I fell in
love with. And I went on a search to find it! And when I did, I struck gold.

I knew I wanted to see this for a reason!
My family and I just recently watched that movie ParaNorman;
honestly a little scary for a cartoon, but super cute! Kind of well
beyond your typical cartoon, there’s a deeper meaning in this one.
It explores the topic of bullying and talks about the difference between
right and wrong. It also talks about how being different is nothing to be
ashamed of. Heavy stuff for a children’s cartoon.
Choice Meal:
Last weekend my Uncle made this amazing Seafood dish;
pasta w/ shrimp, clams and muscles in sauce….Delicious!
Choice TV show:
GIRLS
I’ve caught a few episodes of the hit HBO series here and there, and I have to say
it is hysterical. Lena Dunham makes not taking yourself too seriously, a new trend!
I’m definitely looking into watching the first full season, and
getting on track with its second!
