As August is winding down, I’ve found myself in this rut. Lately I’m just out of it and tired and irritable, so I’m just not feeling summer anymore. Personally I LOVE the fall. That crisp breeze, the crunchy leaves, TV show premieres, Halloween & Thanksgiving,  Vanilla Chai lattes from Dunkin Donuts, Uggs, scarves, boots, the list is endless! Fall fashion is way more fun to play with then summer fashion. I feel like summer is just too hot to try and be fashionable. And although I’ve tried this summer, at the end of the day I always end up in some sort of inner wear (not made for the outdoors) and a big bun that could be mistaken for a beehive! So yea to say I’m excited for fall is an understatement… fall fashion here I come!!!

My Fall Must Haves

My #1 has to be Uggs, I have been itching to rock those babies again! They are like walkin’ on a cloud!

My #2 Knit Scarves… back in the fall and winter of last year, I LIVED in scarves, I swear I have like 15 scarves (the pashmina kind, and a knit one or two), one to go with every outfit! To me they just complete a fall fashion look…I’m definitely looking to get more of these eternity type of scarves, so cozy!

My #3 Knit Over-sized Sweater; cozy and comfy for those semi chilly days and paired with leggings, well there’s your outfit! Stylish and not too out of the way to put together! Bummy yet still pulled together…what an oxymoron 😉

My #4 Moccasin Booties, I have been DYING for a pair of these! Omg paired with a cute pair or denim or black skinny jeans! AHHH love it!

My #5 A leather jacket… Demi Lovato is notorious for rocking a leather jacket with anything and everything (and we all know how obsessed I am with Demi Lovato.) I LOVE how she pairs it with cute printed dresses, it gives it a classy edge! Bad-ass yet girly! I’ve been looking for the perfect one…

My #6 Yoga Pants, SO not only for yoga!!! They are super comfortable, and somehow manage to make your butt look good! lololol 😉

My #7 A men’s Flannel Shirt…I have been DYING for one, I think they give a girl a sort of outdoor cabin/camping vibe and I love it…too bad the last one I owned became part of my #ZombieGirl costume last Halloween… definitely need to get a new one!

My #8 Cardigans… Cardigans…Cardigans, I have a bunch of these, they are perfect for throwing over any outfit to make it more stylish, but to also keep the chill away, without having to bundle up too much!

My #9 A Denim Button Down… perfect for layering!

  

My #10 High waisted Jean… I need to get on this trend asap!

My #11 Hats! Accessorize!

My #12 A Corduroy Skirt… I seriously think corduroy is making a comeback!

My #13 Leather Back Pack, I tend to carry my life in my purse so something like this would be perfect to rock as my purse this fall, and its a neutral color… very practical!

My #14 Saddle Shoes… I had a pair of these when I was a kid, and I loved them, wore them to pieces! I think I’m gonna have to invest in a pair for now! Super Cute!

My #15 Red Lipstick (pretty good all year round…but still…spruces up an outfit!)

So there you go there’s my fall fashion wish list!

So let’s just say that when I woke up this morning I had no idea, what I’d be waking up to! Of course I open my eyes, and naturally I roll over and ignore the fact that my body has awoken, lol, we all do it! I play it off and try to go back to sleep, but then as usual I eventually end up on my phone scrolling through Instagram or Facebook.  I see this picture of a truck carrying a HUGE disco ball, and the caption reads “I wanna go where this is going.”

I thought it was awesome so I posted it on my account hashtagging DirtyPop, in reference to the NSYNC hit single of course. It was something that just made me think of them… disco ball…pop…NSYNC, it was like a “Pyramid” game show question, lol.

Anyway little did I actually know that a few minutes later, I’d be fangirling like a freakin’ psycho. I scroll and scroll and then I see someone post something about a possible NSYNC reunion at this year’s 2013 VMA’s! So naturally I comment my friend to check this site’s validity, we’re all in limbo wondering if it’s yet another media frenzied hoax, that threatens to break the hearts of 90’s girls everywhere.

But then I get a text from my best friend Roe, and she tells me she saw it on the news. At that point you know I had already been googling my ASS off! And low and behold that shit is on blasttt EVERYWHERE…. social media sites are going crazy, and #Nsync is trending on twitter!

Now I still can’t say for sure that the rumors are 100% accurate, but there are reports upon reports saying MTV is trying to make it happen, but there are a few concrete reasons why I think these rumors are true!

#1 Justin is a leading nominee up for SIXXX Moonmen, so already it’s a big night for him! #getitboy

#2 It was just recently announced that Justin will be receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award…which is a HUGE honor (making it an even BIGGER night for him) and no one is more deserving… Michael Jackson is a huge inspiration to Justin and Michael and Justin were very fond of each other, and performed together several times.

#3 Upon the news breaking that Justin would receive such an honor, last week MTV hits began running all of Justin’s Music Videos and some VMA performances, including the one where NSYNC performs “Pop” and is joined by the King of Pop himself during the song’s end dance break…and I thought to myself wow that was soooo dope, but I was sad on two accounts 1) Michael is no longer with us, and thinking about that always hurts, because I’m a huge fan of his music, and 2) NSYNC is no longer together. I caught myself imagining what it would be like if they reunited, how huge it would be…and how happy it would make me and other fans everywhere.

#4 News breaks and rumors circulate about a possible reunion…now I know that tends to happen a lot with the internet, Justin Timberlake can sneeze and it’s breaking news all over the place in a matter of seconds! It’s crazy the world we live in. But I choose to believe that there’s a reason for the rumors, there’s gotta be…to hype this all up and let it fizzle would be a disgrace! And will leave a lot of fans disappointed. Especially since they’ve been rumored to reunite multiple times before and there was never any truth to it.

*This is the scenario I predict (I’m hearing rumors that support my theory as well, so yay!) I think Justin’s gonna rake in them moonmen…and then the other boys of NSYNC will present Justin with the MJ award and THEN the legendary boy band will reunite in their first group performance in over a decade to perform either… “Pop” , a medley of NSYNC hits, or possibly perform one of Justin’s songs with him (although I feel like that’d be a slap in  the face, I mean the whole reason they aren’t a band anymore is because Justin’s solo career blew up! But all of them singing like an a capella version of “mirrors” would be dope, jus sayin’) OR last possible idea they do a Michael Jackson Tribute due to the fact that it’s a Michael Jackson named award. (i say if your gonna do it, do it old school and give the fans a true NSYNC show stopper!)

#5 Media reports state that at Justin’s Miami show recently, The boys of NSYNC were all in attendance with wife Jessica Biel and mom Lynn Harless watching from the VIP area… I mean they are rarely rumored to be hanging out together… a possible meeting to discuss performance ideas, maybe? :O **Photo Update 8-21-13…finally found proof!**

#6 (for good luck) My NSYNC radar has clearly been on point so this all must be true… clearly I’m psychic 😉

***However, I would just like to state the fact that I am still on the brink of sanity and I do understand that this “reunion” is most likely a one time thing, for the specified occasion. Justin just released his ridiculously brilliant 3rd solo album and just wrapped his stadium tour with Jay-z (which was out of this world by the way!) and upon the release of the second half of 2020 coming up on September 30th (hollaaaa) Justin is embarking on his own world tour. So yea homeboy’s gonna be pretty busy…but then again it couldn’t hurt to dream that maybe just maybe he’ll take the boys along with him…for all time’s sake Justin…you owe them…and you owe the fansss (afterall he did leave the band with a pretty rapid exit, giving fans little time to gain closure, yes i said closure, every girl has a relationship with their favorite boy band!!!) A girl can dream… and I will 😉

Now alls we need is a Justin & Britney Reunion and it’ll put me over the top! Come On!

They were really in love you can tell! Why else would his entire first solo album be about her, um hello! (#nohardfeelingsjess)

And um P.S. it’s at Barclays and let me just say Brooklyn’s where it’s at…I’m half about to go stalk that place (and shit!) 😉

Bethany Joy Lenz is someone who I really feel inspired by. I fell in love with her as “Haley James Scott” on “One Tree Hill.”

I became swept away by the love she shared with her on screen husband “Danny Santos” on veteran soap opera “Guiding Light” where she played a fiery “Michelle Santos.”

Was enchanted by her vocal range and ability to make the world seem a little lighter, a little brighter and just a touch more emotional.

Adored her sense of style and followed her Wardrobe Wednesday Blog Posts.

Seriously miss those posts!

And last but not least became intrigued by her singer songwriter meets writer qualities as she began an online rotating novel entitled “Diamond Gothic.” 

Still no word on if she plans to continue that! I’m still waiting for a new chapter!

After Joy’s “One Tree Hill” journey ended over a year ago, I had really missed my Joy fix. But upon her newest role on “Dexter” playing the character “Cassie” whom, from what I hear through the grapevine is gearing up to be a new love interest for “Dexter,” Joy decided to release a new single…a song entitled…

“Please”… off her upcoming album “Bette.”

I have to say that when I first heard this I was both heartbroken and inspired. These lyrics are so beautiful, so powerful, so sad. I hate to dive into her personal life, because I know she’s a rather personal person…

But I can’t help but make a connection to her recent divorce from previous husband; Michael Galeotti (Enation; Piano), whom she had daughter Maria with.

The concept of someone needing to hear that their significant other needs them. Sometimes that reassurance must be met. Its that whole “ask me to stay” situation. Don’t let me leave, because if you do that means maybe I’m not worth fighting for.

After everything two people have been through doesn’t a woman deserve for a man to just tell her the truth, call out to her and learn to stop taking advantage. Its not about telling them they need to show you how they feel it’s about wishing they’d do it without you mentioning it.

I guess that’s a common girl mentality.

But regardless of the meaning behind the lyrics Bethany and her music are a force to be reckoned with and I for one cannot be happier that she’s releasing new music!
